No matter how much we travel, Brooklyn is always home. It was an honor to be in Brooklyn over the last couple of months and interact with those attending the Book of HOV Exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library.

The Book of HOV was an outstanding celebration and recognition of the life, music and influence of Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter.

We were able to contribute just a little to the experience by creating some merch that was enjoyed by those visiting from across the country.

Like a proud parent, it amazes us that we have become the "parent" company of a
number of other companies and brands. One of our children is the Pretty In Pink
Store.

The Pretty In Pink Store is our Custom Breast Cancer Awareness Apparel brand. Over the last 8 years that brand has grown and developed into a leader in the industry. The brand has sponsored NYPD and Target and partnered with Macy's. 

2023 marks a signature achievement. The Pretty In Pink Store has become a Licensed Manufacturer for Susan G. Komen, the largest Breast Cancer Awareness organization in the World.

We can still remember when Jesse Jackson was campaigning to be the President of the United States in 1988. He was the "Barack Obama" of his time as he sought to be the first Black President. It was with that recollection, amazement and humiliation that we looked on as he proudly wore our custom JOHN LEWIS SELMA 57TH ANNIVERSARY JACKET during the rally in Montgomery, Alabama.

To be a part of history and the future simultaneously is an awesome achievement. It is also a trememdous responsibility that we do not take lightly.

Being entrusted with designing and manufacturing merchandise that will appear on the world stage is a great opportunity. It's also a humbling experience. We are thankful for being allowed to showcase our work at the 2022 NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND in Cleveland, Ohio and to be a part of this great exhibition of Champions.

Does time heal all wounds?

We contracted to create the custom apparel for the 100 Year Anniversary of Black Wall Street.

We also accepted the honor of having our merchandise featured in the new Black Wall Street Marketplace Gift Shop in
Atlanta, Georgia.

After hearing one of the 106-year-old survivors of the 1921 massacre talk
about her experience, we realized that many of the wounds of our past not only
remain untreated, but are also being blatantly ignored and allowed to fester by many segments of our society.

It is our hope that these designs can help to promote the healing process by creating awareness and educating people about those wounds.

Our staff was present in Washington DC for the Inauguration just as we've been over the last two decades. Instead of being overwhelmed by crowds of spectators clamoring our merchandise, we were met by empty streets and the military.

Nevertheless, we persisted.

By the end of the day we managed to empty every single box. Once again we would consider it an honor to have created merchandise that people across America would take home as memorabilia of the hope, faith and unity of the nation.

We are honored to present this powerful image of the honorable Congressman John Lewis on a shirt and poster.

"Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble."

A movement is taking place.  The brutal death of George Floyd has served as the gasoline that has ignited a blaze in the hearts and minds of millions throughout the United States and across the world.  His death has also served as a bonding agent that has brought people of every race, age and socio-economic status together to fight for a common purpose.  We support the principle that  the life, liberty and justice of every American is paramount.  To deny Equal Rights to any person because of the color of their skin is not only UN-AMERICAN, its INHUMANE.

We are praying for Brooklyn, the United States and those around the World.  Coronavirus has forced us all to take a serious look at the way we live our daily lives.
